COVID-19

Fully vaccinated guests do not need to wear a mask inside the parks. Non vaccinated guests are required to wear a mask in indoor areas. EVERYONE must wear a mask while onboard the Disney busses, Skyliner and monorail.

Yes it is. Disney launched a park reservation system to help keep track of attendance to each park. Disney resort guests can make a park reservation for the amount of days of your park ticket. Annual passholders can make up to 3 reservations at a time.

In order for Disney to maintain their limited capacity they have decided to only open a few resorts at a time.

We understand that not being able to meet the characters is disappointing. Disney has done a great job, however, with making sure the characters are visible throughout the day. Magically Cinderella will appear in her carriage riding down Main St. USA waving to her fans. We believe this is a great compromise and not deter you from visiting. In fact, the characters tend to be more interactive with the guests as they ride by.

Disney Genie and Genie+

Disney Genie is a brand new feature on the My Disney Experience app! It is a tool to help you create your Best Disney Day! Some features include forecasted attraction wait times

There is a bit on confusion on this one. Disney Genie is a completely FREE solution available to every guest. Disney Genie+ is available for purchase.

Genie+ is the new replacement for the now retired FastPass system. Guests who purchase the Genie+ will be able to use the Lightning Lane on over 40 attractions throughout the parks. You will simply get on the My Disney Experience app as early as 7am on the day you are visiting a park and select a return time for an attraction. Once you ride the attraction you will be able to go on the app again to select your next attraction.

We understand that everyone pays a lot to go to Disney World and the thought of paying more is not appealing to most people. Disney World is one of the last major theme parks to adopt a paid line skipping system so we should consider ourselves lucky that it’s been free for so long. That being said, the Genie+ costs $15 per person per day. That’s not bad compared to Universal Orlando’s system which starts at $69.99 per person per day.

The Individual Lightning Lane attractions are completely separate from Genie+. A select number of popular attractions are available to purchase Lightning Lane for on the day of your visit. These passes vary in price and can be found on the My Disney Experience app.

Give us a call! We will guide you through step by step so you enjoy your trip rather than fight with technology!

Dining Plans

Disney offers 4 dining plans. Each one offers different meal options. They are:

1 .Quick Service Dining Plan

2. Disney Dining Plan

3. Dining Plan Plus

4. Deluxe Dining Plan

At Dream Castle Escapes we are big advocates of the dining plan. Although we do understand that some families have eating habits that aren’t conducive to buying the dining plan. We have done extensive research on the disney dining plans and will make sure you use it properly so you get your money’s worth.

Photopass and Memory Maker

No! Only one of you needs to purchase the Memory Maker. It can be shared with both of your families. All of your pictures will end up in one spot for your viewing.

When you decide to take a picture the Cast Member will scan your Magic Band. Your photos will appear on your My Disney Experience account and will be available for purchase.
